Aluminium cans are the unsung heroes of packaging. They’re infinitely recyclable, which means they keep coming back around, reducing waste and conserving resources. Plus, we’re passionate about teaching future generations the importance of recycling, because every recycled can saves up to 95% of the raw materials and energy needed to make new aluminium.  

Splashing into action 

Water is essential for life and for our can-making process. We’re cutting down on water use with smart strategies, like optimising our washing process and switching to municipal water sources. So far, we’ve slashed our water consumption by 36% per million cans. 

Breathing easy 

Keeping our emissions in check is a big deal for us. We monitor our air and water emissions closely, making sure we stay within all the right limits. Our operations in Nigeria and South Africa are held to high standards, so you can trust that we’re doing our part to minimise our environmental footprint. 

Waste not  

We’re turning waste into a resource. By focusing on recycling and minimising waste, we’re making sure aluminium cans don’t just end up in a landfill. Our partnerships and projects, like the Food and Beverage Recycling Alliance and our UBC Recycling Project, help us close the loop and keep aluminium in circulation.  

Nurturing nature  

We’re all about protecting the incredible biodiversity around our manufacturing sites. Using the Integrated Biodiversity Assessment Tool (IBAT) and Protected Planet, we’ve confirmed that our operations in Nigeria and South Africa don’t pose a threat to protected areas.
