Scott Brodsky
Chairman

Scott joined the Board of GZI as Chairman in 2024.
He is a founding partner of Oppenheimer Partners, GZI’s parent company.
A lawyer by background, Scott has extensive experience across Africa, Asia, the Indian sub-continent,  the UK,  and throughout Europe.
Having been based in Africa for some 16 years, Scott now splits his time between the UK and Africa.
Scott holds a MA, Law degree from the University of Cambridge and is a qualified solicitor.

James Judson
Group Chief Executive Officer

James is an experienced senior business leader who, prior to joining GZ Industries, has enjoyed a 30-year FMCG based career with PZ Cussons International PLC in various leadership roles around the world. A Marketing professional by training, James has worked in Europe, Asia and most recently for over 20 years in Africa in roles which include CEO, Managing Director, Supply Chain Director, and Marketing Director.  

Ayodeji Adelakun
Executive Director & Group Chief Financial Officer (Alternative Director)

Ayodeji is a finance professional with  two decades of experience in industry and accounting practice. Prior to joining GZI, he was the Group Head of Finance of Forte Oil Plc (now Ardova Plc) where he was responsible for the finance functions of the Group’s downstream businesses in Nigeria and Ghana, upstream services and power generating business in Nigeria (Geregu Power Plc). He played a significant role in the restructuring of Forte Oil Plc from African Petroleum (AP) and was instrumental to various mergers and acquisition initiatives of the Group especially the acquisition of Geregu Power Plc by the Group in 2013. He played a leading role in the subsequent successful divestment of the Group from its downstream operations in Ghana and Nigeria, the Upstream Service entity, and the successful sale of Forte Oil Plc to new controlling investors. 

Prior to joining Forte Oil, Ayodeji worked with Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd where he was responsible for the financial control, reporting and tax functions of the entity. Prior to this, he trained as a chartered accountant with Shofolawe- Bakare and Co (Chartered Accountants) where he in-charged major audit and tax engagements 

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy, United Kingdom and the Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia. 

He is a graduate of Industrial and Labour Relations from the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago- Iwoye and has a Masters in Accounting from Babcock University Ilishan Remo and an MBA from IE Business School Madrid. He has attended executive management programs at the University of Pennsylvania, the Wharton School, USA. University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and has a certification in Sustainable Finance from Cambridge University United Kingdom.   

Michael Adiukwu
Non-Executive Director

Michael is an Investment Professional at Oppenheimer Partners with over 15 years’ experience in consulting, investment banking and private equity across multiple industries and geographies.

His previous experience includes time at The Capital Markets Company in New York as a Management Consultant and at Standard Bank in Lagos and Johannesburg in the Private Equity and Investment Banking divisions.

John Odindo
Country Manager for Kenya

John Odindo is a seasoned and results-oriented leader, currently serving as a company director and the country manager for GZI Kenya. In this pivotal role, he is spearheading the establishment and growth of the company’s new aluminum beverage can manufacturing business in Kenya, with a strategic focus on expanding GZI’s footprint across the East African market.

With over two decades of experience leading global multinational operations like Honeywell, DuPont and 3M both East and West Africa, John brings a wealth of expertise in country leadership, P&L management, strategic planning, and market entry. He is deeply committed to fostering a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and team development.

Driven by a passion for sustainability and digital transformation, John is dedicated to anchoring these principles to drive lasting change within the manufacturing sector in the region. His academic background includes a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Organizational Leadership and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategy from the United States International University – Africa. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, providing a strong technical foundation to his business acumen.

Reoagile Monageng
Country Manager

Reoagile is a seasoned supply-chain and operations leader with more than 15 years of cross-industry experience and a proven record of delivering measurable performance, growth, and transformation. His career spans engineering, commercial strategy, and end-to-end P&L leadership, underpinning a reputation for disciplined execution and modern, data-driven management. 

At ArcelorMittal and Heineken, Reoagile held successive engineering leadership roles where he led the deployment of world-class preventive-maintenance systems, elevating asset reliability and uptime across complex production environments. He later broadened his commercial credentials at Robert Bosch South Africa, where he founded and led the Thermo-Technology division. In that capacity, he designed and executed the go-to-market strategy that successfully introduced Bosch Industrial Boilers to the Southern African market. 

Reoagile then pivoted into operations management at Distell as a Brewmaster, driving network-optimisation and supply-chain synchronisation initiatives across the Ready-to-Drink and Cider categories—projects that improved service, cost, and throughput.  

Before joining GZI (SA), he served as General Manager (Manufacturing) at PepsiCo, where he held executive, end-to-end ownership of the Snacks category P&L, delivering sustained gains in operating efficiency, cost optimisation, underpinned by improvements in employee health and safety, and environmental sustainability. 

Outside of work, Reoagile enjoys road cycling and reading on military history and geopolitics. 

Rauf Badejo
Group Chief Supply Chain Officer

Rauf is a Supply chain and logistics professional, with extensive experience in multinational FMCG and logistics companies across West Africa. Prior to joining GZI, he held many executive leadership positions in Maersk, Hayat Kimya and Perfetti Van Melle and held senior roles in PZ Cussons, Nestle and others. 

He is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), UK, with Master’s Degree in Supply Chain & logistics management from the University of Warwick, UK; Bachelors degree in Industrial and production Engineering from University of Ibadan, Nigeria; Micromaster in Supply Chain management from MITx and management programs from Lagos Business School, Nigeria. 

Modupe Odusola
Company Secretary and Group Legal Counsel

Modupe is the Company Secretary and Group Legal Counsel with over 16 years in Legal Advisory, Company Secretariat, Investor Relations, Corporate Governance and Regulatory Compliance. 

As the Legal and Compliance Executive, she is responsible for guiding the organization through evolving legal and regulatory landscapes, championing corporate governance excellence, effective stakeholder management, policy advocacy, and sustainability development. 

Prior to joining GZI, she held Leadership positions in Secretariat and Compliance within various sectors to include Financial Services Sector, Insurance, Manufacturing, Energy-Downstream and Pension Administration. 

She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Nigeria. 

Luiz Pereira
Group Chief Operations Officer
Joining GZI in 2021, bringing with him over 30 years of experience working in the aluminium can industry, Luiz started his career as a tool shop technician.
He has worked for major world can manufacturers in a variety of positions, from maintenance planning, production leadership, and customer service to commercial areas. Previously worked for Sandvik, world leading manufacturer of carbide can tooling, as Operational Manager for South America.
Most recently, his experience working for Ball can company in the position of Operations Director, saw him oversee the can facilities in Argentina and Chile, developing and adapting corporate strategies to enhance industrial performance according to regional demands while respecting local cultures.
Luiz has a degree in Mathematics and MBA from FGV Brazil/Ohio University USA.
Yemi Oyetola
Group Chief Human Resources Officer

Oyeyemi is a qualified and licensed HR professional and resources manager with 30+ years of experience and proven competencies in start-up operations and in aligning people strategy with business operations across FMCG, construction, and consulting. 

Prior to joining GZI, as the pioneer Head of HR, he was a Senior HR Manager with Honeywell Group at Honeywell Foods. 

He is a Fellow of CIPM and holds two Master’s degrees in HR Management and Managerial Psychology.
